Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway, United Kingdom Cambridgeshire County Council Full time
About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Senior Practitioners who have a passion for ensuring that children, young people, and families receive a positive and timely service.

The role involves working in our South Cambridgeshire and Cambridge City Assessment Teams, where you will have the opportunity to be creative with care planning and have your ideas and voice heard.

You will be part of a lively and fast-paced team that values collaboration and multi-agency working. Our team is supported by Children's Information and Advice Officers (CIAOs), making administrative tasks manageable.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will be supported by a permanent Team Manager who will provide consistent and reliable senior leadership.

The team works to a hybrid model with part home and part office working, based at Fawcett House in Cambridge.

About You

We are looking for a confident and dynamic individual who enjoys making a difference in their local community. You must be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration and have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and want our workforce to be reflective of this diversity. We offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive wellbeing package, relocation package, and scalable retention payments.

We value our colleagues and have developed a number of benefits to support their wellbeing and career development. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.
