Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment invites applications from experienced professionals to lead our interdisciplinary team in advancing bioprocessing technologies. As the Interdisciplinary Team Lead, you will develop and execute strategies to optimize cell line development processes, driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Process Optimization & Innovation:
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and implement new technologies.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead a team of scientists and engineers, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project outcomes.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and senior leadership.
    • Present research findings and project updates to internal and external audiences.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in bioprocessing or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CHO and HEK293 cell lines in bioprocess settings.
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) for experiment planning and optimization.
