About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Exams Officer to join our team at Underley Garden School. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an individual who can inspire pupils and young people with complex learning needs through a highly personalised curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting in classes across the school to cover teaching assistant absence
  • Liaising with teaching staff with regard to work set for a class
  • Working alongside teacher and teaching assistants to ensure a positive environment for all pupils
  • Planning lessons if and when required
  • Taking on the role of Exams Officer for our small cohort of young people

Underley Garden School is a large school with small class sizes, focusing on pupils and young people, aged 5-19, who have a range of complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities, including complex communication, sensory and behavioural needs associated with their disabilities.
