QC Laboratory Specialist

**Job Overview:** SRG is working with a major European Waste Management and Recycling company to find a talented QC Laboratory Specialist. This exciting opportunity involves joining a dynamic team in Cheshire East, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of products and materials.
**Responsibilities:
- Performing laboratory analysis on various materials, including crude, in-process and outgoing products.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring it is calibrated regularly.
- Assisting in stock-taking and ordering laboratory supplies.
**Requirements:** To succeed in this role, you will need a Degree in Chemistry (or similar) and at least 2 years' experience working as an Analytical/ QC Chemist. GC-FID/MS experience is essential for solvent purity analysis, while wet chemistry techniques (KF, pH, titration) are also highly valued. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are all necessary for this position. In return, we offer a competitive salary of **£32,000 - £42,000**, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a pension scheme.
