Security Officer

We are seeking a highly vigilant and detail-oriented SIA licensed Security Officer to join our team at Total Security Services (TSS) LTD. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:- Access Control: Manage entry to our buildings and sites, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
- Patrols: Regularly inspect premises to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Incident Response: Handle alarms and emergencies with professionalism and poise, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
- Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
- Conflict Management: De-escalate confrontations and resolve disputes in a fair and impartial manner.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent support to staff and visitors, ensuring their needs are met and they feel safe and secure.
- Reporting: Document incidents and daily activities, providing valuable insights to improve our security services.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for all.
- SIA License (Security Guarding, Door Supervisor, or Close Protection) is essential for this role.
- A full driving license is required for site patrolling.
- Strong observational and communication skills are necessary to excel in this position.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure is crucial in this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is required.
- Physical fitness for patrolling and extended standing is necessary.
- At least 1 year of experience in security is required.
- First Aid Certification is mandatory.
- A valid driving license is required.
- Language training will be provided to support your career development.
- Flexibility in language requirements means we welcome applicants from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

- £12.00-£14.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 16 – 56 per week
