Special Needs Teacher Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Needs Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with primary students in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1), with a particular focus on supporting students with autism.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with autism.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and development.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in EYFS and KS1.
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with autism.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £35,000 per annum
