About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our global Site Solutions team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in providing sustainable contaminated land solutions across a range of sectors, including property, industrial, data centres, energy, and transport.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments: Undertake desk-based research, carry out site visits, prepare factual and interpretative reports, and coordinate portfolios or deliver full Phase I Site Environmental Assessments.
  • Phase 2 Environmental and Geo-environmental Site Investigations: Scope site investigations, draft proposals and tenders, plan and supervise environmental and geo-environmental site investigations, assess and interpret soil and groundwater analytical data, and conduct environmental risk assessments and detailed quantitative risk assessments.
  • Remediation: Contribute to remediation option appraisals, remediation strategies, and verification reports, and provide a remediation oversight role.
  • Project Management: Project manage a range of projects, take responsibility for project delivery or part delivery, provide guidance and training to less experienced colleagues, and manage financial aspects of projects.

Your role will involve collaborating with colleagues in our multidisciplinary and international market, supporting existing clients, and helping to develop new client relationships. You will also provide technical expertise, mentor earlier career team members, and contribute to Ramboll’s climate and sustainability commitments through the Site Solutions services we provide.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A suitable degree in environmental and geological sciences or a related environmental discipline.
  • Previous experience of planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations.
  • Prior experience in project management and delivery of due diligence projects.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Competence and efficiency in report writing.
