About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMHN) to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Inpatient Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with eating disorders and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the holistic care of patients, assisting their recovery and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary assessments, treatment, and evaluations of patient care without direct supervision.
  • Implement the discharge process to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Take charge of the inpatient unit and day programme as required, leading by example and promoting professional standards.
  • Ensure receipt of clinical and managerial supervision, and provide clinical supervision to band 3's and 4's within the team.

Requirements
  • RMHN qualification and current NMC registration.
  • Experience of assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of treatment.
  • Supervised experience gained during clinical placements.
  • Ability to use IT to support communication and teaching.
  • Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English.
