Job Summary

Proactive Global is seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join our team in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing sales orders, liaising with customers, and producing quotations within tight deadlines.

About the Role

The Sales Estimator will deal with customer enquiries, receive and review sales orders, and respond to technical queries. Key responsibilities include:
  • Liaising with customers regarding product specifications, order details, delivery, and special arrangements.
  • Creating timely and accurate estimates and quotations from customer enquiries and technical drawings.
  • Producing quotations to deadlines, estimating machining times for in-house elements and incorporating externally sourced elements when applicable.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require extensive experience within precision engineering, a strong understanding of machine capabilities, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must also possess accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to read and translate technical drawings.

Additional requirements include computer literacy, excellent listening and negotiation skills, and a pride in your work. A keen interest in the company's performance and loyalty to the business are also essential.

What We Offer
