Company Overview:
The UK Atomic Energy Authority is seeking an Electrical Infrastructure Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will lead the Power Distribution Group, overseeing electrical systems to ensure compliance with legislation and delivering projects safely and effectively.

Safety and Compliance:
Your role involves managing complex high-voltage and low-voltage electrical work, including installations, modifications, and technical studies. You will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams to support UKAEA operations, utilizing matrix management and collaboration to meet supplier requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage teams to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare engineering procedures, risk assessments, method statements, and local rules to support the Electrical Services Groups needs.
- Oversee supplier requirements, including reviewing and approving documentation, while controlling costs within budgetary constraints.
- Provide assurance through calculation, analysis, and review of electrical switchgear and cabling; act as Project Engineer or Project Manager for relevant projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience obtained following award of the qualification, in an electrical engineering role in an industrial hazardous or harsh environment and professional experience which demonstrates an ability to work at this level.
- Demonstrable knowledge of large distribution networks.
- Experience of preparing safety documentation including risk assessments, method statements and using a formal permit system for work on complex, hazardous electrical plant.
- Experience of issuing electrical isolations on Low Voltage systems, including racking out of air circuit breakers.

Estimated Salary: £54,376 (inclusive of Market Premium Payment) + excellent benefits including outstanding pension.
