Job Opportunity: Consultant Adolescent/Child Psychiatry Consultant

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Adolescent/Child Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at the renowned Croft Child and Family Unit.

About the Role

As a Consultant Adolescent/Child Psychiatry Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert care and treatment to children and young people up to the age of 18 with a range of mental health conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, depression, and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and treatment to children and young people with mental health conditions
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health conditions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with current developments in mental health care and best practices
Requirements
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in child and adolescent mental health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
