Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at a leading biotech company. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for executing immunoassays, reporting experiment results, and maintaining equipment.
About the Role: This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with a competitive salary and excellent progression opportunities. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement new laboratory techniques and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Immunoassay Execution: Conduct immunoassays, including sample preparation, analysis of data, and documentation of experiments in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Report experiment results to supervisors and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and qualification of laboratory equipment.
- Formulation and Dispensing: Formulate, filter, and dispense routine reagents in accordance with manufacturing batch records.
- Bioconjugation Formulations: Develop and implement bioconjugation formulations, documenting procedures in laboratory notebooks.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in an industrial laboratory setting is desirable.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent liquid handling skills, and ability to work independently.
- Availability: Must be able to commute to the site daily and be available for start relatively quickly after interviews.
