About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Tozer Associates. As a key member of our building services design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for a variety of projects, including schools, industrial facilities, decarbonisation schemes, commercial offices, residential, and student accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients, design partners, and internal team members to deliver design solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed designs, conduct design reviews, and produce CAD drawings.
  • Manage project information and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop and implement design concepts and solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of design skills and participate in design team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical design engineering with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to contribute to conceptual design techniques, decision-making processes, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively transmit passion for engineering to clients, other professionals, and the team.
  • Familiarity with front-end design tools such as Amtech, REVIT MEP, BIM, and CAD/IT literacy.
