Job Description:

Crescent Specialist Recruitment (CSR) is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Northern Ireland region. As a specialist interior and refurbishment contractor, we have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-end luxury projects, and we are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join our commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Management: Manage specific commercial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.
  • Documentation and Procurement: Prepare and obtain documentation for subcontractors, review and negotiate quotes, and procure subcontract packages.
  • Cost Control and Analysis: Analyze, price, and control changes and variations, ensuring accurate and detailed site measurement.
  • Reporting and Risk Management: Provide accurate and detailed cost control reporting and risk management, communicating with all parties on technical and pricing matters.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to successfully deliver projects, establishing and enhancing professional working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years' post-qualification experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably in fitout experience as part of a commercial team on large projects (£15m+).
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification to degree level, preferably in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Skills: Commercial and contractual awareness, excellent communication and presentation skills, awareness and delivery of Site QS requirements, and IT skills.
