Private Client Solicitor Opportunity in Harrow

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our successful team in Harrow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in probate, wills, trusts, and tax.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer estates from start to finish, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and apply for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, handling all necessary paperwork and documentation.
  • Complete and deal with tax forms, including Inheritance Tax, Income Tax, and Capital Gains Tax, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Attend to house clearances, collect and realise assets, and pay liabilities, ensuring a smooth estate administration process.
  • Distribute estates and prepare income and distribution accounts, providing clear guidance to clients.
  • Advise on tax mitigation and deeds of variation, handling complex tax-related matters.
Wills and Trusts:
  • Take instructions and provide advice on wills, assessing client capacity where necessary.
  • Offer guidance on Inheritance Tax, Income Tax, and Capital Gains Tax, as well as tax mitigation strategies.
  • Draft, prepare, and attest wills, applying for statutory wills when required.
Trusts and Tax:
  • Provide general advice on trusts and tax matters, ensuring clients are well-informed and compliant.
