The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced driver to join our team as an Automotive Transportation Specialist. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering vehicles to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver vehicles to designated locations, adhering to safety and security protocols.
- Accurately record vehicle information and complete electronic proof of collection and delivery.
- Conduct safety and security checks on all vehicles, following established procedures.
- Work collaboratively with vehicle inspectors to ensure efficient and cost-effective routes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including key storage and tracking.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to drive cars and LCVs.
- Knowledge of vehicle derivatives.
- Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical knowledge an advantage.
- Computer literate, with experience using tablets, mobile phones, and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
