Hospital Pharmacy Medicines Management Role

Job Description
The pharmacy technician will be responsible for maintaining compliance with King's policies and procedures for Medicines Management. They will maintain and develop high-quality, consistent, patient-focused pharmacy services to wards in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff. The successful candidate will also manage calls and requests as appropriate for the pharmacy team, via the WIFI phones, and propose and implement policies and new working practices for ward-based pharmacy services that will have an impact in the care group or division.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council, NVQ Level 3 plus accredited underpinning knowledge BTEC Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or other recognised Pharmacy Technician Qualification meeting requirements for registration with GPhC. They will also have significant experience post-registration relevant to hospital pharmacy practice with assessed competencies, and be able to provide and receive complex information on medicines use, ward and dispensary services.
