About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Apprentice Commissioning Engineer to join our team at MTrec Technical. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of all systems, ensuring successful handover to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers on technical queries, taking responsibility to resolve and troubleshoot using remote access technology.
  • Conduct on-site surveys for service, repair, and modifications to assist with quotations.
  • Carry out training activities for customers on safe and efficient operation of systems/products.
  • Review and complete method statements and risk assessments where required.
  • Be active in department metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
Requirements
  • Degree in electrical discipline desirable.
  • HNC (Higher National Certificate in an Electrical or PLC engineering discipline) or equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Installations experience, including knowledge of P&ID drawings and installation management.
  • Driving licence.
  • Siemens TIA portal (PLC) experience.
