Job Summary:
Penguin Recruitment is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join a successful UK-based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy in Trowbridge. As a Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to participate in large commercial and residential housing development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis and design for commercial and residential projects
- Develop and implement structural design solutions using software such as TEDDS, MasterSeries, Revit, or AutoCAD
- Collaborate with Assistant/Graduate Engineers and supporting Project Engineers, Technicians, and Technical staff
- Conduct site visits and structural surveys
- Update drawings and documentation as needed
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience in structural engineering design
- Working towards a chartership with a professional engineering institution
- Experience with software designs relating to steel, timber, concrete, and masonry
- Previous experience with software such as TEDDS, MasterSeries, Revit, or AutoCAD
