Care Manager for Children

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join Brook Street UK as a Care Manager for Children. This role involves leading a 5 bed residential care service for children and young people with mild learning disabilities and associated mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the home and staff team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for assessment, care, control, education, and health.
- Hold responsibility for all aspects of the management of the home in line with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and associated quality standards.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete Level 5 within 2 years).
- At least 2 years' experience relevant to residential care in the last 5 years.
- Extensive knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and associated quality standards.
- Understanding of care planning and case management, with the ability to liaise constructively with professionals and families.
- Ability to lead a team, supervise, and motivate colleagues.
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
Benefits:
- Enhancements are paid for unsocial hours and sleeping in duties.
- Time and a half is paid for weekend working (if applicable).
