We are seeking a reliable and friendly individual to facilitate the safe road crossing of children and adults within our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Decide when it is safe to stop traffic and use the crossing patrol sign to give clear signals to drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
  • Work collaboratively with the community to ensure the safe passage of children and adults.
  • Participate in training to develop your understanding of the Highway Code and road safety procedures.
  • Use your good road sense and judgment to make informed decisions about traffic flow.

Requirements

  • Good road sense and understanding of the Highway Code.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS criminal record check.
