Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Community Learning Disability Team at Livewell Southwest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a community-based specialist occupational therapy service to adults with learning disabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, including those with distressed behavior, dual diagnosis, and physical health needs.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions using evidence-based and client-centered principles.
  • Work closely with other clinicians, carers, and stakeholders to provide a comprehensive service.
  • Develop and maintain occupational therapy services within the team, including policy development and service evaluation.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff and occupational therapy students.
