Job Description:
As a Lead Food Preparation Coordinator with Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements, while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team. As a Lead Food Preparation Coordinator, you will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations, maintain accurate inventory levels, and provide training and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative menus and improve kitchen efficiency
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory management and stock control
- Provide training and support to kitchen staff as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Estimated salary: £22,000 - £32,000 per annum
- Proven experience as a Chef in various settings (e.g., restaurants, hotels, schools, care homes)
- Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to different kitchen environments
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
