About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Researcher to join our team in a brand new Centre of Excellence for Security Research.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a leading project that involves researching and identifying vulnerabilities in the system, staying up-to-date with the latest data and trends within Cyber, and testing ways to 'break the unbreakable'.

About the Team

You will be working with a talented team of Security Researchers from diverse backgrounds, including Software Development and Physics, and will be expected to work on-site in Sheffield from time to time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct infrastructure pen testing and mobile pen testing to identify vulnerabilities
  • Develop and maintain expertise in areas such as exploit development, network security, and system architecture
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective security solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Cyber Security
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in infrastructure pen testing, mobile pen testing, or related areas
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in Cyber Security
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
