About the Role
We're looking for a Support Worker to join our team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working collaboratively with a team to provide excellent care and support to our service users.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with service users, their families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Conducting regular reviews and assessments to inform support plans and ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Recording and reporting incidents, near misses, and any concerns related to service user safety or well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • A genuine passion for helping others.
  • 1 year of experience working with vulnerable individuals and challenging behaviour (personal, voluntary, or professional).
  • Demonstrated commitment to undertaking care practice in accordance with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) code of practice, National Care Standards, Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care, and our organisational policies and procedures.
  • An ability to relate empathetically to individuals, recognising their right to choice and independence.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including some weekends.
  • Competency in using Microsoft applications or equivalent.
  • Ideal: hold an SVQ level 2 or above and willingness to work towards an SVQ 3.
