About the Role

18 Week Support Limited is seeking an experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join their team in the Dorset area. As an ODP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to the theatre team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the theatre team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Assist with preparing patients for surgery, including administering medications and preparing equipment
  • Provide support during surgical procedures, including maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Contribute to the maintenance of theatre equipment and supplies

Requirements

  • Current registration with the relevant professional body
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an NHS setting as an ODP
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
