Social Work Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Apprenticeship and Development Lead to join our Adult Social Care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating Social Work apprentice placements across Adult Social Care.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate Social Work apprentice placements across Adult Social Care
- Guide and monitor the development of Social Work apprentices over 12 months
- Review portfolios and observe professional practice to ensure growth and proficiency
- Empower Social Workers to reach their full potential and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Supervise, promote development, and model best practices to cultivate a high-performance culture
- Expert knowledge of Social Work and apprenticeship programs
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to lead projects with service/organisation impact
- Experience of undertaking supervision of staff
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. You will be based in our Adult Social Care office and will be required to travel to various locations across the county.
