**Job Title:** Compassionate Teaching Assistant - SEN
**Location:** Gravesend, Kent
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs at Your Teaching Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a variety of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioral difficulties.
**Job Requirements:
About the Role:- Provide tailored support in and outside the classroom to help students engage with their learning, develop life skills, and reach their full potential.
- Work closely with students who have a variety of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioral difficulties.
- Assist with the delivery of personalized learning plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Help students with academic tasks, social skills, and emotional regulation.
- Support students with personal care and mobility if required.
- Assist in managing student behavior using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
About You:
- A genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Previous experience supporting students with SEN, either in a school or other educational setting, is desirable.
- Patient empathy, and the ability to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of students.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive, flexible attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An understanding of various SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
