Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team at Swarco Traffic Holding AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing our finance system functionality and supporting our Finance Controller in value-add projects and analysis across our UK & Ireland Business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Run month-end processes, automate and improve
    • Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Intercompany matching process with Group
  • Fixed Asset and Lease Management
    • Fixed asset and IFRS 16 maintenance, including annual asset review
    • Monitor and keep track of lease agreements
  • Cash and Treasury Management
    • Cashflow forecasting and cash pooling management
    • ONS returns and submission
  • Reporting and Business Partnering
    • Assist annual audit and statutory accounts process
    • Reporting and business partnering of indirect cost centres, forecast and budget preparation for these areas
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Support import/export compliance strategy
    • Identify opportunities for cost saving, synergies and EBIT improvement
  • Process Improvement
    • Optimise processes through SAP
    • Process flow documentation across finance
  • Internal Audit and Compliance
    • Internal audit responsibility and liaising with QHSSE Teams
Requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills
  • Team player
  • Interest in technology and AI
  • Good knowledge and use of IT
  • Ability to present data clearly
  • Sound knowledge of key Finance principles
  • SAP (beneficial not mandatory)
  • Right to live and work in the UK
