About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of various locations across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins.
  • Clean and sanitize washrooms, restrooms, and other communal areas.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Follow specific cleaning schedules and procedures provided by ABM UK.
  • Respond to any cleaning-related requests or emergencies promptly and efficiently.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning or janitorial role would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends if required.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 5pm to 7pm - 2 hours per shift
