Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking an outstanding Care Assistant to join our team at Randolph Hill Nursing Home in Dunblane. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Uphold residents' rights to privacy, dignity, and choice, promoting a person-centered approach to care.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors, adhering to SSSC Code of Conduct.
  • Set a good example in terms of dress, manner, hygiene, and behavior, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns to relevant personnel, maintaining accurate records as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in care of the elderly setting, with a strong understanding of dementia care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload.
  • SVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in care, with experience of working with elderly people and knowledge of dementia care.
