Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at AkzoNobel. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for overseeing the indirect procurement process for Manufacturing and Facility Management categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the achievement of global, regional & local procurement goals by ensuring competitive pricing, right service and quality levels with the best terms and conditions in line with company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Create/maintain relevant data for seamless execution of the procurement buying process.
  • Perform spend analysis to identify & drive opportunities for procurement improvements.
  • Coach & train users on the tools, policies & procedures covering the procurement purchase process.
  • Ensure that all commercial contracts are executed in compliance with company policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Supply Chain, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in a hands-on country purchasing role with an international understanding, ideally in a large scale organisation.
  • Professional procurement accreditation will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with supplier performance measurement.
  • Experience of contract management.
