Corporate Tax Partner Designate Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Partner Designate to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals and providing expert advice to our clients.
About the Role- Lead tax computations for a significant client portfolio and oversee the tax compliance process.
- Deliver trusted advisory and technical knowledge to clients.
- Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.
- Oversee the work of the tax team, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
- Provide strong people management skills, managing workflow and mentoring junior staff.
- Communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand way.
- Work closely with Partners on complex tax planning and advisory.
- Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow.
- Drive the tax function's strategic direction by scoping new business opportunities and identifying new service lines for the existing portfolio.
- Set an example to the team as a hands-on and proactive Partner Designate.
