Production Operator - Flitwick Nightshift

Proactive Global is seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Flitwick. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient running of our production line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the safe and efficient running of the production line by ensuring the shop floor has all raw materials necessary for production.
  • Ensure blenders/silos are kept filled with the required materials.
  • Correctly issue raw and WIP materials, including wadding materials, necessary for production to production lines.
  • Check and prepare bulk bins and pallets to support the packing of finished goods on the lines.
  • Make-up of cartons/boxes for the packing of finished goods.
  • Ensure finished goods are correctly packed and labelled.
  • Scan and book the finished packs into stock.
  • Use company-specific scanning software to ensure accurate traceability of all stock.
  • Clean down machines and material handling equipment prior to change over.
  • Promptly deal with minor machine and assembly equipment faults.
  • Perform machine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Ensure general cleanliness and tidiness of factory, blender, and yard areas.
  • Assist with general line operation when necessary.
  • Adhere to all quality-controlled documents, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience of working in a factory.
  • A logical and methodical approach to duties.
