Job Description:
Proclinical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented NDC Distribution Center (DC) Operative to join our team. This role is primarily focused on fulfilling the requirements of daily operations in areas such as Outbound Goods Dispatch and Goods Receipt. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Supply Chain department, working closely with the DC Shift Supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Fulfill daily operational activities within a designated team, ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers.
Work towards set personal and warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring all deliveries meet quality and compliance standards.
Efficiently manage Goods Receipt of stock and its subsequent storage in the correct temperature-controlled areas, maintaining accurate inventory records.
Prioritize urgent requirements and process cross-docked items in a timely manner, minimizing delays and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles and the general handling of materials throughout the site, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Accurately pick customer orders in accordance with material number, quantity, batch number, expiry date, and temperature condition, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
Efficiently dispatch all customer orders from the NDC, considering all customer, compliance, and quality requirements, and maintaining accurate records of shipments.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment and clean/undamaged saleable stock, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Carry out daily inventory checks as required, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Experience in Warehousing and Supply Chain Operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and distribution principles.
Knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP EWM Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with the ability to navigate and utilize these systems effectively.
Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing business needs, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer focus and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Experience in forklift truck driving is desirable but not essential.
