We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Marine Trade team. As a key member of our team, you will analyse and underwrite new and existing business, interact with brokers, and work collaboratively with line managers.

This home-based role requires regular travel to our Brighton office. You will contribute to the growth and development of our marine insurance sector as part of our Navigators & General team.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Analysing and underwriting new and existing business
  • Interacting with brokers in our specialist market
  • Working collaboratively with line managers to achieve objectives

Requirements:

  • CII qualification or working towards
  • Desirable: proven underwriting experience
  • A passion for marine insurance
  • Experience working within an insurer, broker coverholder, or MGA environment

Earnings: Estimated salary: £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
