Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Project Start Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of mobile equipment, ensuring seamless operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to our mobile equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide emergency call-out support and attend to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including online work diaries and customer communication.
  • Collaborate with our service administration team to ensure timely submissions of repair estimates and invoices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Manage company assets, including company vans, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience in LOLER, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently, using sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Competent in using computer systems and software.
  • Arc/MIG welding skills (advantageous).
  • A clean UK driving license is essential due to the nature of the role.

Working Conditions:

  • 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.
  • Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
