Our team is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centres.

The Site Operations Department manages some of the most efficient and cost-effective data centre facilities in the industry. We take customer requirements for uptime seriously and keep our facilities maintained to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.

As a Critical Facilities Engineer at Fintech Wales, you will work with a team of other electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data centre infrastructure. You will assist Data Centre Technicians (DCT) Team by providing 24/7 monitoring of the Data Centre infrastructure and by actioning any Remote and Intelligence Hands requests, in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include daily facility and plantroom checks, ensuring the company not only meets SLAs (Service Level Agreements) but exceeds them. You will also ensure all electrical equipment and infrastructure are maintained to Standards and Health and Safety requirements, in line with the Annual Maintenance Planner.

Estimated salary: £45,000-£60,000 per annum.
