Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team in providing compassionate, patient-centered care in inpatient, surgical, and orthopaedic settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing, and implementing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Patient-Centered Care: Provide high-quality care to patients, prioritizing their needs and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, adhering to best practices and protocols.
  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, responding promptly to any changes in condition.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration.
  • Experience: Previous experience in general inpatient, surgical, and orthopaedic nursing settings is preferred.
  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic healthcare environment.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated at £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay rates, we offer flexible scheduling options, including ad-hoc shifts, nights, and weekends.
