Randstad Enterprise, a leading provider of recruitment solutions, is offering a 12-month contract opportunity for a Senior Regulatory Specialist in Slough/Hybrid (1-2 days in the office).

This role involves performing various regulatory activities related to raw materials, finished products, product registration, labelling, claims, packaging, and regulatory database management to ensure compliance with applicable food and other product-related laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical area, such as nutrition, food science, biology, chemistry, or pharmacology. Previous experience working as a regulatory specialist in food products within the UK, ideally Europe, is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of ingredients, formulas, labelling, and packaging with laws and regulations in assigned markets.
  • Ensure claims are compliant with laws and regulations in assigned markets.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in assigned markets; determine current and expected regulatory status of ingredients and additives.
  • Participate on project teams, anticipate regulatory issues, and work with external partners to resolve these issues.
  • Provide strategic Scientific and Regulatory Affairs advice to support growth plans.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of documentation to regulatory agencies required to substantiate and approve claims.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
