About the Role:

The Civic & Community Officer will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing civic and community events, ensuring they run smoothly and fostering community engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute civic and community events
  • Coordinate logistics and budgeting for events
  • Attend committee meetings and participate in discussions
  • Hold key positions for hires and weddings
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies
  • Foster community engagement through outreach and partnerships

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event planning and management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in public sector or local government
  • Knowledge of civic protocol and procedures
