Associate Lawyer - Shipping Litigation

Jameson Legal is seeking a highly skilled Associate Lawyer to join our Shipping Litigation team in London.

We are looking for a talented lawyer with a strong background in shipping law, who can provide expert advice to our clients in the transport sector.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong academic credentials and excellent technical skills;
  • Experience in shipping law, preferably with a rated City or regional firm;
  • Between 1 and 5 years' post-qualification experience in shipping litigation;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven ability to manage complex case loads.

Common law-qualified lawyers with relevant experience are welcome to apply. We are able to sponsor candidates if required.

Our team provides a comprehensive range of services to multi-national shipping clients, including shipowners, charterers, and P&I clubs. We assist our clients in relation to arbitration, general average, ship arrest, cargo claims, and other maritime disputes.
