London Hilton on Park Lane Banqueting Sous Chef Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Banqueting Sous Chef to join our team at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing the banqueting kitchen, ensuring a well-organised and motivated team
  • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets our hotel's standards
  • Collaborate with the kitchen brigade to ensure consistency in quality of dishes at all times
  • Develop and implement creative menus and dishes that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
  • Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and staff development
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie is essential
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills are necessary to manage multiple events and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required
  • Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom is necessary
