Catering Assistant - Shirebrook

Job Summary

We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Frasers Head office. As a key member of our catering team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and beverage services to our staff restaurant.


Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working front of house, serving customers, and using the tills for cash and card payments.
  • Serving customers and replenishing stock.
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness, stock shelves and refrigerated cabinets, and ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Managing deliveries, handling cash transactions, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring that stock is kept secure and stock levels are monitored for both food and other consumables.
  • Keeping front of house and service area clean and ensuring that the service areas and catering equipment are clean and ready to use throughout the shift.

You'll work a variety of shifts, including midweek and weekends, with rotas completed four weeks in advance.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in customer care.
  • Cash handling and numerical skills.
  • Good organisation skills.
  • Able to manage and move deliveries (manual handling).
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety.
