Senior Logistics and Customer Services Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Senior Logistics and Customer Services Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the logistics and customer services team, ensuring timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer orders, resolving queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Supervise the team and take charge in the absence of the Logistics and Customer Services Manager.
- Monitor and report on OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance.
- Perform EDI mapping, manual reservations, and reconciliations.
- Complete month-end reporting and use customer portals as required.
- Monitor stock levels and process daily information from 3rd party warehouses.
- Manage credit notes and returns from customers.
- Check proof of deliveries and upload PODs to the in-house system.
- Provide back-up support for stock control and customer services teams.
- Offer general administrative support to the team and Logistics and Customer Services Manager.
- Check invoices for 3rd party warehouses/transport and resolve any queries.
- Be the first point of contact for relevant accounts of the Customer Managers at Veetee.
- Communicate with production departments to highlight shortages and request production dates.
- Support inter-departments by compiling reports on supply-related issues.
- Work with warehouse and accounts teams to resolve issues on goods receipt.
- Monitor daily dispatch schedules and make updates as required.
- Book external transport using hauliers' portals and raise transport POs.
- Ensure sample orders are processed and packed.
- Complete part-picking order updates.
- Organize collections from customers and process relevant documentation.
- Cash sales for employees.
- Perform any other reasonable duties, responsibilities, or requests issued by management.
Requirements:
- Strong previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade A-C (4-9) or equivalent.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes.
- Highly analytical, numerate, and a good problem solver.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good Excel skills.
- ERP/MRP systems experience is advantageous.
- Positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to work with a varied stakeholder group.
- Team player.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, office-based.
