Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of internal colleagues and external specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality projects within the Worcestershire county Council framework.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Project Manager within an operational environment and possess strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and IT skills. You will also have a high level of expertise in NEC Contract management and be able to develop and deliver project and business sustainability strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a portfolio of highway and structures projects within the Worcestershire county Council framework
- Lead a team of internal colleagues and external specialist subcontractors
- Manage site staff performance to achieve project goals and productivity
- Provide health and safety leadership to operational delivery teams and promote behavioural safety improvements
- Comply with all relevant HSE legislation
- Ensure policies and procedures of the Business Management System are fully discharged
- Ensure sufficient and competent resources are in place for the delivery of the project and project objectives are communicated
- Develop and maintain programmes through the project life cycle and ensure works are delivered against the contract programme
- Lead the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to support delivery of the project
- Ensure project opportunities are identified and realised to maintain and improve the commercial project performance
- HNC/HND
- NEC Contract management experience is highly desirable
