Job Title: Kitchen Team Member

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting menu items to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present menu items with creativity and flair, within the specified cost margins.
  • Perform food preparation and kitchen porter duties, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Implement and maintain strict stock rotation and minimize wastage.
  • Order necessary food items according to business demands, consulting with the Executive Chef for guidance.
  • Liaise with restaurant staff regarding menu item availability, additions, and changes.
  • Work with and coordinate the work of apprentices in food preparation and production.
  • Prepare and ensure availability of mise en place as required.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure all equipment is serviced and cleaned.
  • Assist and liaise with the chef on duty as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work well as a team and independently, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with no remote work options.
