Accountancy and Payroll Clerk
At Pro Talent, we are seeking an Accountancy and Payroll Clerk to join our team in East Sussex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, dealing with all client queries, and providing excellent customer service. You will have current payroll experience and be confident in managing a wide range of clients, dealing with all client queries, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
• Managing a diverse client portfolio, including liaising with clients and entering payroll data from start to finish accurately.
• Reconciling payroll to client data, getting client approval as appropriate and issuing payroll reports & payslips.
• Preparing payroll journals, reconciling weekly and monthly PAYE figures, and preparing BACS files.
• Administering Pension Auto-enrolment and dealing effectively with queries from clients and HMRC.

Requirements
• Excellent numeracy skills and thorough knowledge of payroll related legislation.
• Ability to manually calculate payroll results and good understanding of pension schemes and rules.
• Evidence of being a proactive, hands-on team player and a natural organiser with a keen eye for detail.
• Working knowledge of computerised payroll software and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Salary and Benefits
