Job Description

Role Overview:

The Site Service Engineer will be a key member of the engineering team at Brightwork Ltd, responsible for carrying out engineering/maintenance tasks to support the department.

This role involves managing the engineering stores, including timely stock checks and replenishment, and performing daily and weekly site services checks.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and time-management skills, experience in inventory management and procurement processes, and proficiency in using computer software such as MS Office and ERP systems like IFS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On and offline maintenance pertaining to parts of plant within the factory and out of the factory in the service and utilities area.
  • Assisting other members of the engineering team with maintenance tasks during breakdowns.
  • Maintaining and organizing the engineering stores area, ensuring it is well-stocked and items are easily accessible.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of spare parts and consumables, initiating orders to replenish stock as needed.
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors to arrange timely delivery of materials, spare parts, and consumables.

Requirements:

  • Multiskilled engineer with previous experience in a coordination, stores management, or administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including MS Office and ERP systems like IFS.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Benefits:
