We are reinventing the postal service for the future, and we need your help to make it happen. As a Delivery Post Officer with us, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers receive their mail and parcels on time.

Competitive Salary

You'll be rewarded with a competitive monthly salary of £12.54 per hour, equivalent to approximately £1,500 - £1,700 per month based on a 35-hour workweek. Additionally, you'll earn overtime at 1.25 times your normal hourly rate.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Delivery Post Officer with driving duties. You'll be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to residential and business addresses across Margate and surrounding areas. You'll need to have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do, providing excellent customer service and going above and beyond to ensure our customers receive their deliveries promptly.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Upbeat, independent, and self-motivated mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including walking and standing for long periods
